Filed April 11th, 1977

This is the first drawing in the first Apple patent, and while it’s prosaic from an aesthetic standpoint, it might be the single most significant one of them all. It shows Steve Wozniak’s design for the Apple II, the brilliantly simple piece of engineering that made Apple into Apple.
