I have been waiting for a long time for a VERIZON I PHONE. I really hope this is not another tease.
Apple(steve Jobs) give Verizon customers the best gift ever. A VERIZON I PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. mike Says:

The first Verizon iPhone if released will have flaws and bugs like all other electronics, wait about 1-2 months after its released

  5. Nick Says:

Can't wait I have been waiting a long time.

  6. David Says:

Why wait? The flaws and bugs would get worked out anyway after 1-2 months.

  7. Jasmine Says:

I'm really excited about the first Verion iPhone I been waiting for this to happen for a long time I hope it comes to fruition…..

  8. Dustin Says:

Bugs and flaws, every phone has those! The day it gets released I'm getting it! 😉

  9. Tim Says:

how much do you think it will be?

  10. TechyTim Says:

I don't know, probably similar to AT&T. But if it costs an arm and a leg, looks like I can only get two of them. Can't wait!!!!!

  11. Dave Says:

Bug and flaws? I don't think you understand, this is about the iPhone not android…

  12. Awe Stomous Says:

    …waiting to hear about this.

  13. theWalrus Says:

If this had happened last year or earlier, when having an iPhone was a must (and the only player in the game really) I would have jumped on the bandwagon. If they do announce an agreement I'm sure a fair amount of people will switch but, frankly, I'm very happy with my Android-based phone and see no reason to switch now.

  14. Kevin Says:

I currently have a HTC Incredible and absolutely love it. I have also had an ipod touch. Not the same as the iphone but close enough. I believe they are both good products and both have there pros and cons. I might think about getting a Verizon iPhone but not going to jump in and get one right away.

  15. Bill Says:

I hope they won't penalize me too much to trade this sorry Blackberry in to em for one! Still have 10 months or so on that contract!

  16. Jenn Says:

I'm tired of carrying around a cell phone (LG Touch) and a iPod. Gonna get it now and will pay for the upgrade to iPhone 5 (should it come out this summer).

  17. michelle Says:

I also hate carrying my droid eris and my itouch…I'm ready for this announcement…only 35 more minutes!

  18. Mike Naples Says:

I wonder if there will be a pre pay / pre purchase program?

  19. Danny Benedit Says:

Why get teh Verizon iPhone with out LTE? This would tie you in a 2yr contract….The new iPhone 5 will be out on mid August?

  20. tjELITE Says:

Who is to say the iPhone 5 will have 4G…this hasn't been announced and Apple tends to wait till it is further along I'd say 2012 will be 4G on the iPhone… Now why would I not get a 4G iPhone? Have you seen the data fees for 4G? I'll stick to 3G till 4G is more affordable and has more coverage

  21. Ken Says:

    Does this update automatically?

  22. johnny Says:

Do we know for sure that a newer iPhone will be available mid-summer? I can't imagine that Apple would repeat the situation they had on their hands a few years ago.

  23. Billy Bob Says:

Sir, if You do not bring an iPhone, i will cut you!d

  24. Raoul Says:

There will be a new iPhone announced in June, released in July

    That is 100% sure

  25. Raoul Says:

Like there will be an iPad 2 announced soon and released in April

  26. Whit Says:

@ Jenn, you got the right idea! I plan to do the same. If Verizon does, in fact, announce an iPhone right now, it will be more than enough to keep me VERY happy for the next 6 months to a year. Also, even though the iPhone 5 is scheduled to be released in June/July, who says Verizon will for sure get it? That scares me – holding off for 6 months only to find out the latest iPhone won't be unveiled on Verizon and I've waited for nothing. I need to feed this craving!

  27. Raoul Says:

There will be iOS 5.0 in July too, this is the rule and as we all know, Steve likes rules and order

  28. Raoul Says:

I can also tell you that there will be new iPods in September and that Apple TV and airplay will get a big revamp in line with 5.0

  29. Whit Says:

@Raoul: Are you saying that those of us who go out and purchase the Verizon iPhone 4 will still be able to get iOS 5? If so, I like where your head is.

  30. Gee Says:

The entire Beatles collection coming to V-Cast!!!

  31. Will Says:

The iPhone that is coming out for Verizon will support iOS 5.0 if anything the 3G and 3GS will NOT support it. Verizon is going to be changing their upgrade policy too. Come January 16th or 17th you will ONLY be able to upgrade after 20 months on a 2 year contract you won't have the early upgrade option anymore.
