The BlackBerry PlayBook Will Apparently Start Under $500

I’m still not sure if RIM’s PlayBook Tablet will be any good. But it’s ambitious, and the specs are top-notch–and it will apparently sell for less than five hundred bucks.

Read the article you're quoting from!
The Torch is going to sell for $99, not the Playbook!
    How lazy are you bloggers?
Can't even read the entire article?

Well, to be fair "Research In Motion Ltd., the maker of the BlackBerry smartphone, said it will begin selling a tablet computer in North America in the first quarter for “under” $500 as it takes on Apple Inc.’s iPad." That's the first sentence for Pete's sake. Did you read the beginning or just skip to the end?

Now, angry, unless you know of another Rim, or another Rim tablet, it seems to me that they may well be talking about the Playbook.

That being said, this thing is still MONTHS away and Rim is pulling that old MS trick. Talking about how great a future non-shipping product will be, "just wait!". How about showing us something besides a lot of talk. Rim is in a world of hurt when the CEO(Co) is happy that his flagship phone is selling for $99 2(3?) months after it came out.

Mark this quote "The iPad’s dominance in the tablet-computer market will “change when we’re in the market,” Balsillie said today." We'll all be having a good laugh about this a year from now.

There's a typo in your headline. Should be "$500", not "$100".
