Multimedia Remote Control

When Steve Jobs introduced the tiny, minimalist Apple Remote, he contrasted it mockingly with a more typical remote that looked..sort of like this one. It has buttons for controlling a TV, a VCR, cable TV, and an “Apple”; your guess is as good as mine as to what Mac features it might have commanded back then, since neither MP3s nor DVDs were around yet, let alone downloadable movies.
