Screen of death? Verizon has confirmed that some Droid X units have defective screens–but says that it affects only one-tenth of one percent of units.
I wonder if there will be many news stories calling for a recall.
I also wonder if there will be anything even remotely resembling the same amount of coverage that Antennagate/YellowSpotGate got.
I received my Droid X this afternoon. After a few hours of use and setting up all of my contacts, half of the screen became blurred, jiggly, and unresponsive. Called Verizon and they are replacing, but it will not ship until Aug 4th. I hope I have a better experience with the 2nd one. I am not real happy about it, needless to say;.
