Apple will enable multitasking of third-party apps in iPhone OS 4.0? Sounds good to me…
For me, a compromise would be a task scheduler (like Windows Mobile) so applications such as “To Do” lists can fire a reminder without needing to constantly maintain a HTTP connection (push).
That rumor has been floating around before the iPad was introduced.
