Wi-Fi Shirt

Wi-Fi Detector Shirt

When you’re ready to be the life of the (IT department) party, throw on the ThinkGeek Wi-Fi Detector Shirt. The black t-shirt senses Wi-Fi signals around you and displays the strength on its animated display. The better the signal, the more bars that’ll light up. (Just don’t expect the ladies’ eyes to be lighting up, too.)

The Wi-Fi shirt runs on three replaceable AAA batteries with detachable electronic components for washing purposes. The shirt costs $20 to $30.

Geek-o-meter: Geek-O-Meter: 3

You’ll be the envy of geeks everywhere–which may or may not be a good thing.

Not too bad for a tech site…..

@tron… but that’s one way to make money. every time you click next, the page loads anew and the website receives a new “impression” and the ads are delivered anew… etc.
Usability is often not the main concern of website publishers, when they have to make a living off of their site ^_^

Um….couldn’t they make it a little more fashionable? Great idea but really, I wouldn’t want to look like a fisherman all the time.
